The origins of this post go back to my love of music. I am a hardcore music lowwwer ...i honestly believe that at every moment of your life there is music constantly playing the background --- i mean i am not sure if this happens to everyone AANA it most definitely happens to me ... and its not that i can hear music playing in my head ... well that happens too ... but its when ur hanging with ur friends or family or going thru a rough patch in ur life -- its when ur forming a memory -- that there is music attached to it. But given today's technological advancements ---i no longer have to play music in my head but am able to listen to it when ever and where ever including the loo --- hehehe--- so anyways before i digress more --- so Tamil padagal is what i primarily listen to --- but english and hindi songs also play a significant role in my life. Eminem has been a artist that has been a fav for a long time , i like songs that make sense in terms of their lyrics and becos of that i tend to try and find meaning in lyrics all the time --- i feel that the artist's feeling is expressed thru these words and to me represents them --- therefore popcorn music like Girlicious / Back street Boys / Jonas Brothers/ etc etc make me wanna puke ..... in addition some tamil lyrics have me going crazy to --- i shall dedicate another post for that .... So back to Eminem so the guy makes powerful music -- pours out his heart and doesn't make it sappy or ore the feelings about it its like -- i am dying so what ? so it has this inate veeram, hope and strength which means a lot to me. So rap and hip-hop, beep-bopping are genres which make a lotta sense to me .... so when i first heard the following song i was begging for more --- it was HIP-HOP and beep-booping aana it was in Tamil --- MIND FREAKING Blown that was what i felt -- it was the day i fell in love with Yogi B and Nakshthra --- i had become a die-hard fan, there were others like blaaze etc that eventually caught my ear but nothing that came close to them.
So up until recently -- as always when i like a artist i listen to their music but don't get all head over heals in love with them --- i appreciate their music and leave it at that .... my relationship with this group has also been the same--- i thought Yogi B was cute in a Bear sorta way and Dr. Burn was sorta attractive (cos i like men with long hair and earrings) but nothing more than that ... and ofcourse i thought they were amazing artists bringing out their angst and struggles thru their words that too meaningful TAMIL lyrics but also their amazing beep-boping and musical talent captured me. But about a month back i happened to watch Coffe with Anu on which these guys appeared and yes yet again but this time i was completely in LOVE ... with DR. Burn aka MR. Rueban Manoharan --- enna solluradhu ... his style , geethu, passion , talent iyyo i dont know where to stop... i mean i am totally in love with him ... AMBULENA he is the one .. eena Mudi... enna messai.... just the whole attitude ... ok i am going to stop my jollus here ....
And yeah Yogi B aka Yogeshwaran Veeran --- is such a cutey , more like a teddy bear loved it when he said " amma happy na ..naan happy" ...
So whats the point -- the point is its starting to become a rare vision to see such strong men in real life these days that live their lives as veerans ... and I miss them ....and also its awesome to see them express their feelings in a non-sappy way --- very attractive ....
Finally dear dr. burn --- Mudalil un kavithaiyal enn kathukaglai Kavarnthai... peragu un Kangalal enniye Kavizthai
PS: Rueban if u are single .. im sure ur not ... but if u are i am ready ...
PPS: We need more men like this in the world....more tamil singams i mean .. .
