So today was my appointment with Christian (his pet name i guess --- XXX) at Yonge street Tattoos to get my 5th tattoo... a gift of sorts for my 25th birthday --- so yeah i got it done today -- a butterfly and a ying yang of sorts --- photos to follow -- once it heals properly and also my person wants to be the first to see it so --- thats another story !!!!!
any who so i was there for my appointment 6 mins late -- i was told that if i was 15mins late then i would lose my deposit and what not , so i hurried over --- turns out that XXX was a little delayed cos the first sketch didn't turn out to be good. So finally at 12:45 is came over with the design.... it was Honestly AWESOMEOUS!!!! better then what i had imagined what it would turn out to be!!! he had incorporated leaves and water dots and so on..... i realize this doesn't make any sense ... one needs to see the designs to see what i am talking about ... anyways so the whole ordeal started at 1:15 -- i am calling it an ordeal cos getting a tattoo hurts like B*TCH !!!!!!! I thought this the first time and I think the same even today --- in the beginning i thought that maybe the pain will deter me from getting any additional ones. But the point is that the pain is somehow very addictive and it is because of this that I am here today once again all bandaged up and feeling sore.
The new one is a big piece and i thought that since it was in my upper back, shoulder and collar bone i didn't think that it would hurt as much as it did. The other problem was that since it covers larger area -- i had to move around and change my sitting positions. So he first completed the black outline before he started with the colors and shading --- oh yeah he used three colors-- red, blue -- my fav color and also green!!!!
So going back and forth kinda made it hard --- But on the whole it was GREAT!!!!!!!
I cannot wait to take off the bandages--- But the world has to wait a little longer to see it.
Anyways another thing is that i handed in my first copy of my masters thesis and i was told it needs quite a bit of work so i was kinda upset but i know my supervisior wants me to do my best work so once again i am working on it ----Its a long way to go but ... no ifs or buts I suppose !
